Syarikat Lian Ping Enterprise Sdn Bhd has been a pioneer in furniture manufacturing and interior renovation industry in Malaysia. Since its establishment in 1961 by Mr. Tay Teck Sim, the company has remained a leader in its field.

Mr. Tay Teck Sim, a self-taught carpenter left China for Singapore when he was 21 years old. He began as a furniture maker and sub-contractor for interior renovation works. He later moved to Malaysia to set up his own interior renovation company. 

Lian Ping’s first major project was the renovation of Hilton hotel in 1972. The success of this project positioned us as one of the top interior renovation and furniture manufacturers that it still is today. Since then, we have been privileged to contribute our expertise to prestigious projects, such as Shangri-La Hotel KL, Riverside Majestic Hotel Kuching, Marriott Hotel KL, Mandarin Oriental Hotel KL, Four Seasons Hotel KL, Hotel Indigo Kuala Lumpur on the Park, and many others. 

Our company has also garnered international presence. In 1994, we were awarded our first overseas project. The success of renovating the Berjaya Beach Resort and Casino at Le Morne, Mauritius, has encouraged the company to expand its business overseas and subsequently securing a multi-million project in Uzbekistan.
